End User License Agreement (EULA)

This EULA applies to the Complex SMP Minecraft server and related services. Complex SMP is a community server built on Minecraft and is not affiliated with Mojang AB or Microsoft.

1. Introduction

This EULA governs your use of Complex SMP and any digital products, perks, or paid content associated with the server. By using the server, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.

2. License Grant

Complex SMP grants you a limited, personal, revocable, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to access and use the server for personal, non-commercial purposes, including participation in events and use of purchased perks.

3. Restrictions

  • No reverse engineering or distributing server software.
  • No account sharing, selling, or impersonation.
  • Real Money Trading (RMT) of in-game items is strictly prohibited.
  • No cheating, hacks, or unfair clients.
  • Follow all instructions from staff.

4. Ownership

Complex SMP owns all server software, content, and digital goods. User-created content remains yours, but you grant Complex SMP a royalty-free license to display, host, and promote your creations.

5. Paid Content

Paid ranks, perks, and items are purchased via the official store, are non-transferable, and non-refundable except as required by law. Perks may be modified or removed for balance reasons.

6. Mods & Resource Packs

Players may use mods or resource packs that:

  • Enhance visuals or convenience.
  • Do not give unfair gameplay advantages.
  • Do not violate server or Minecraft rules.

7. Allowed / Prohibited Clients

  • Allowed: Vanilla Minecraft, OptiFine, approved quality-of-life clients.
  • Prohibited: Any client with hacks, cheats, x-ray, kill aura, auto-clickers, fly, speed, reach, or dupes.

8. Termination & Account Suspension

Complex SMP may suspend or terminate accounts violating this EULA. Termination results in loss of access to perks and server features.

9. Liability Disclaimer

The server is provided "as-is." Complex SMP is not liable for downtime, lost progress, or data loss.

10. Updates and Changes

We may update or modify the server, features, or perks at any time without notice.

11. Privacy & Data

We collect minimal data (usernames, IP addresses, gameplay logs) for moderation and security. Data is not sold to third parties.

12. Governing Law

This EULA is governed by applicable global laws. Disputes will follow local laws where Complex SMP operates.

13. Entire Agreement

This EULA constitutes the full agreement between the player and Complex SMP regarding server use.
